What makes a Superhero?

                                                                             

 Lately I've been debating the subject on what makes a superhero. The other day a few friends and I had a heated debate about what makes a superhero super. A lot of my friends immediately jumped to the conclusion that it was their special powers that made a person  a superhero, however, when I thought about my favorite superheroe I did not so much think it was their powers but more so their character. My favorite superhero is Superman the most powerful superhero known to man and it is not his power that  make him my favorite superhero but more so his "farm boy" values. He stands up for what is right no matter what and he has the best moral compass amongst all the superheroes.

    

           In additon, many famous superheroes don't have superpowers. Two famous superheroes without powers are  Batman and Green Arrow. However, when bringing these two characters into the picture I don't think my argument stands. When I think about them I don't think it is their character that makes them super because though they both have strong characters I would not put them on the same level as Superman or even on the same playing field. So then I'm back where I started. So what makes a superhero you guys?
